Matthew B. Landess

Albuquerque, New Mexico

After a career in the U.S. Army and a second career in national & international sales, Matt Landess moved to New Mexico. In 2011 Matt attended the UNM School of Law focusing on estate and real estate matters. After graduation, he joined a well-known real estate firm where he was able to pursue his passion for litigation. He intentionally chose litigation in order to gain more time in the courtroom than other attorneys with a similar length of practice. Matt has litigated a wide variety of cases including; commercial and residential real estate disputes; estate and contested probate matters as well as general tort claims. In addition, Matt employs his negotiation and litigation experience as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate with the New Mexico Air National Guard where he has the privilege to assist with legal issues including international law, operations law, environmental law, and military and personnel issues. Now at Atkinson & Kelsey, P.A., Matt approaches family law with the same enthusiasm and experience he used in his other endeavors.
